Work starts on Lighting Installation from 4th August
Installation of the Replacement Lighting at St Mary’s starts on Monday 4th August and will continue until mid March. The following will be held in the Parish Rooms - Wednesday 8am Morning Prayer and 9.30am Holy Communion, Tinies and Silent Prayer.

Photos of the recasting of our 7th Bell
In May 2024 the 7th bell, cast by John Briant in Hertford in 1797 and part of a world class ring of 12, developed a 25cm crack when struck by the clapper from another bell. The bell was removed by John Taylor Foundry of Loughborough and a new one recast.

The closing date for applications is 31st July 2025. St Mary’s Music Association offers up to £250 to support the musical training and education of a young musician in St. Mary’s parish in full time education.

All required funds have been raised and installation will start on 4th August with work at ceiling level starting on 15th September.

St Mary's Junior Choristers Cake Sale
On Sunday 15th June 2025 the Junior Choristers organised a cake stall after the morning service. The cakes were made by the Junior Choristers and their families and £115 was raised to buy a music whiteboard.
