We run lots of courses that will help you to grow in your faith and provide valuable input into your life as well as putting on events with the aim of having fun together and blessing those in our local community.

Weekend Away

Every 2 years we run a weekend away course at a church conference center which is open to anyone in our team ministry churches. See away photo from our last one..  Our next weekend away is on 12-14 June 2020 at Belsey Bridge Conference Centre at Ditchingham near Bungay, Suffolk.  See photos from our last weekend away here.

Living Questions course

Each year the Rector runs this  course in the Rectory, one evening a week for 7 weeks,  to explore the questions you might have about the Christian faith?  If you are interested, then please contact David Tomlinson  - 01799 500 947 or

CCS – Course in Christian Studies

The course is for people who want to gain more in-depth knowledge.  Subjects covered include biblical studies, church history, doctrine, spiritual growth, ethical issues, liturgy.  The course last 2 years (6 blocks of 5 weeks). About 2 hours per week preparation is required. If enough people are interested in attending it will be held at St Mark’s College Saffron Walden starting in September 2019.  A taster event will be organised for May/June.  The cost is £150 per year.  Please talk to your vicar if there is any problems with paying for it.

Growing Leaders Course

A course is currently running so the next course would be planned to start September 2020 finishing in June 2021.  Participants meet monthly for about 2 hours.  They are also teamed with a mentor to meet monthly to discuss the course.  The subjects covered are learning about having a firm foundation in Christian Leadership, key skills of Christian leadership and keeping faithful in Christian leadership.
