Week beginning Sunday 16th August 2020
Until further notice the St Mary's Church SW will be open for private prayer on Wednesdays and Sundays from 12 till 4pm. There will be a service at 10am in St Mary’s each Sunday except for the first Sunday of the month when there will be a 8am BCP service instead. Online services will continue - see below.
Please see below and also our Church at Home web page for ways to worship during this time.
At the moment the Saffron Walden and Villages Team Ministry is able to offer several ways in which you can worship online during the week and on Sundays and a restricted number of services in churches on Sundays. See below for details.
We are very grateful to those who have continued to support our church’s running costs during the pandemic with their standing orders. However, we are aware that others who would normally contribute to the collections made during services have been unable to do so. You can now use your credit or debit card to donate money directly to our church using our new secure online giving provider ”Give a Little” by clicking on this link. And you can even gift aid it. Any contributions will be most appreciated. Thank you.

O God, the protector of all who trust in you,
without whom nothing is strong, nothing is holy:
increase and multiply upon us your mercy;
that with you as our ruler and guide,
we may so pass through things temporal that we lose not our hold on things eternal;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
