Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving 4pm Sunday 1st November

A special service for anyone who has been bereaved. This will be an opportunity to come together with others who have lost a loved one, for a time of quiet reflection, prayer and thanksgiving.

The church choir will be singing and local funeral directors, Peasgood & Skeates, will be supporting the service. There will be an opportunity for members of the congregation to light a candle in memory of family and friends.

Refreshments will be available in the church after the service.

Anyone who would like the name of their loved one(s) to be read out during the service, whether they died recently or many years ago, can send their name(s) to St Mary’s Parish Office: office@stmaryssaffronwalden.org or Peasgood & Skeates: sarah.sizer@peasgoodandskeates.co.uk no later than 26th October.

The service will also be streamed via YouTube to give people the opportunity to watch online if preferred and to invite family and friends to join them in this time of reflection, wherever they may be.
