Chorister Recruitment Weekend - 25-27 September 2026 

This year, the St Mary’s Choristers (formerly the Junior Choir) are holding a recruitment weekend. The weekend will provide an opportunity for anyone aged 8-12 to come along to join in a rehearsal on the Friday evening, discover more about being a chorister and have the chance to sing at a service in church on the Sunday. There will also be a presentation for parents/carers with the opportunity to discuss how the St Mary’s Choristers operate, whilst enjoying some refreshment in the beautiful setting of the church. It is well-documented that aside from the obvious musical skills acquired in choral training, one learns many other valuable transferable and highly sought-after skills: teamwork, discipline, confidence and strong sense of commitment.
