St Mary's Saffron Walden Annual Church Meetings Sunday 19th April 2026 at 12noon.

All most welcome to attend. Do read  our Annual Review for 2025-2026 which gives a good account of what has been happening over the last year.

Nominations for members of the PCC, Deanery Synod, Churchwardens and Assistant Churchwardens

Nomination Forms can be downloaded from the website below or requested from the Parish Office, showing the formal requirements for nominees 10 members of the PCC - 6 for a standard 3 year term (2026-29) 1 casual vacancy for a period of 2 years (2025-2028) and 3 casual vacancies for a period of 1 year (2026-27).
We also need nominations for 4 represeatatives to the Deanery Synod from 2026-2029.
Nominations are also invited for the positions of Churchwardens and Assistant Churchwardens. Scanned nomination forms may be submitted by email to the PCC secretary at pcc@stmaryssafronwalden.org or posted through the Parish Office letter box or handed to a churchwardens or sidesman. Completed forms should include the names of the proposer and seconder and do need to be signed but you don't all need to sign the same form. If you wish to find out more of what being on these bodies involves, please contact me, the churchwardens or any of the existing members. 
I would be very grateful if nominations could be sent to me before Friday17th April.
