Saturday 18 November – Quiz starts at 7.30pm – Quiz by Malcolm White in aid of the Buildings Project. Tickets £5 per person – Bring your own refreshments – Teams of six. The event is being organised by Chris Knight.
This early morning communion service uses the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer. There are no hymns, and there is a short sermon or talk. The service takes 40 minutes.
This service on the third Sunday each month is shorter and more informal. It includes drama, a mix of contemporary songs and hymns and a short talk. This lasts about 45 minutes and refreshments are served afterwards.
Coffee, Cake and Company is for those affected by mental ill health issues and their families.
You’re most welcome to come along for all of the session or part of it. We sit round tables chatting, drinking and eatng cake. Sometimes we even play some games.
In the last 10 minutes or so we have a quiet reflection, a hymn and a prayer.
We usually meet every 3rd Sunday of the month.
This service of holy communion has a focus on prayers for healing. It includes hymns and a short talk and is held in the South Chapel.
Aftershock Youth Group – Aftershock is for 11 to 18 year olds and meets in the Parish Rooms on Sundays from 7.00‐ 8.30pm. Come along for games, a chance to learn more about faith and to enjoy each other’s company – plus there’s normally food involved!
This is a short service in modern language and includes bible readings and prayers of intercession. Morning Prayer is said each weekday in the North Chapel.
