During the past year there has been a marked increase in the number of unemployed in Saffron Walden and the surrounding villages. Many people are facing unemployment and the after-effects of redundancy for the first time. The Transition Project was started by a group of volunteers to provide practical advice and support.
Come and meet with us
In addition to the information on this website, we run a free clinic every Tuesday. It is staffed by volunteers who have first hand experience of redundancy and who can provide practical support with internet searching, CV writing and interview technique. Some PC’s are available for internet searching and help is at hand if you need it. Just as important, tea and coffee is provided for those that just want a chat.
