BCP Holy Communion at 8 am
This early morning communion service uses the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer. There are no hymns, and there is a short sermon or talk. The service takes 40 minutes.
Holy Communion at 10 am
The communion service on the first, second and fourth Sundays uses modern language liturgy from Common Worship and includes hymns along with a sermon. During this time our children’s group, Team JC, meets nearby in the Parish Rooms and joins us just before we receive communion. The service lasts about an hour and a quarter and refreshments are served afterwards.
Family Service at 10 am
On the third Sunday each month there is a shorter and more informal service which includes drama, a mix of contemporary songs and hymns and a short talk. This lasts about 45 minutes and refreshments are served afterwards.
Holy Communion at 11.45 am
This said service in modern language takes place on the third Sunday of the month and includes bible readings, a short sermon and prayers of intercession. It is held in the North Chapel.
Our evening services follow a pattern that runs from cathedral style choral evensong with singing led by the choir to informal contemporary worship led by our Youth Group. During the summer months these take place at 6.30pm and during the winter months at 4pm.
4th@4 is a smaller family-friendly service that happens on the 4th Sunday in the month at 4pm.
This is a short service in modern language and includes bible readings and prayers of intercession. Morning Prayer takes place each weekday in the North Chapel at 8.30am except for Wednesdays when it is at 8am.

Prayers for wholeness and healing
This short service of prayers for healing is held once a month in the South Chapel at 1pm
