BCP Holy Communion at 8 am
This early morning communion service uses the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer. There are no hymns, and there is a short sermon or talk. The service takes 40 minutes.
Holy Communion at 10 am
The communion service on the first, second and fourth Sundays uses modern language liturgy from Common Worship and includes hymns along with a sermon. During this time our children’s group, Team JC, meets nearby in the Parish Rooms and joins us just before we receive communion. The service lasts about an hour and a quarter and refreshments are served afterwards.
Family Service at 10 am
On the third Sunday each month there is a shorter and more informal service which includes drama, a mix of contemporary songs and hymns and a short talk. This lasts about 45 minutes and refreshments are served afterwards.
Holy Communion at 11.45 am
This said service in modern language takes place on the third Sunday of the month and includes bible readings, a short sermon and prayers of intercession. It is held in the North Chapel.
Our Celebrate@4 is an informal and interactive 50 minute service for all ages held 6 times a year at 4pm on a Sunday. The services involve children from St Mary’s School as well as Joyful Noise, our children’s choir. Come at 3.45pm for an activity and cakes.
Holy Communion with Prayers for Wholeness and Healing.
This service of Holy Communion takes place on the 3rd Sunday of the month (6.30pm in Summer and 4pm in winter) and has a focus on prayers for healing. It includes hymns and a short talk and is held in the South Chapel.
Takes place on the 2nd Sunday of the month (6.30pm in Summer and 4pm in winter). Using the liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer this service includes an anthem and musical settings sung by the choir along with hymns and a sermon.

(Highway to Heaven) All are invited to our café-style worship led by our Youth Group, Aftershock. H2H takes place in the Parish Rooms at 6.30pm on the 1st Sunday of each month. Cake, coffee and tea provided. All welcome – young and old!
This is a short service in modern language and includes bible readings and prayers of intercession. Morning Prayer takes place each weekday in the North Chapel at 8.30am except for Wednesdays when it is at 8am.

Prayers for wholeness and healing
This short service of prayers for healing is usually on the first Thursday of each month in the South Chapel at 1pm
This service occurs monthly on Thursday evenings at 7.45pm, and is run by the clergy. It offers a more informal service with the opportunity to talk and discuss in smaller groups.
