St Mary's Church Mens' Walk

We had a magnificent 8 mile walk in sunny snowscape on Saturday 9th January. Thanks to Jeremy Collingwood who led us on our walk to Newport and back with a pub lunch at the Bell in Wendons Ambo - sufficient to burn off some of those excess Christmas calories! Deer and rabbits were spotted in addition to many hedgerow birds.

These walks, organised by Jeremy Collingwood and Mike Watts, take place on a Saturday every 2 months. Watch out for details of the next walk.

Confirmation Service Sunday 22nd November 2009

10 candidates for our parish were confirmed today by the Rt. Revd. Christopher Morgan, the Bishop of Colchester at St Mary's Saffron Walden.

Quiz and Fish and Chip Supper Sat 21st November 2009

Over 100 people attended this most successful Quiz Evening in our Parish Rooms.
