9 youngsters joined us on Easter Eve for 2 hours of fun, games, crafts and discussion about the events at the first Easter. The children, aged 6 -11, enjoyed various games including parachute games and an egg and spoon race. They also moved between 4 activities which helped to fill out the story of Holy Week. These were flag-making, the Last Supper, egg decoration and paper-cross making. The session was rounded off with an animation of Jesus’ crucifixion (and a cream egg each). Many thanks go to all those who came to the event and to the helpers for the morning – Judith Hannam, Tim Game, Sandra Marsh and Vicky Barrett.
