St. James' Church, Sewards End was the venue for an Easter Eggstravaganza on Good Friday morning. 17 children explored the events of the first Easter through craft, songs and games. We encountered the hopes of Palm Sunday, foot washing on Maundy Thursday, the sadness of Good Friday and the excitement of Easter day, taking home individual Easter gardens as well as creating one outside the church. Four young leaders joined Andy Finn, the youth worker based at St. Mary's, and four adults from St. James' in running the morning, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
